Dear brother and your family,

A few words to let you know that I am alive yet although 
not as good health. We have had a hard winter, lots of snow. 
I suppose it's the same over there.

Well how are the other relatives? Are they alive yet? I would 
like to hear about them and how do you feel. I haven't done 
very much for many years. I had an operation 3 years ago and 
I am just taking it easy, as I am already 70 years old. If you 
can't write in Finnish then write in Norwegian. My neighbor will 
read it to me. He is Norwegian. Nothing more but heartfelt 
greetings to you all from me and my wife.
